400 Thousand Bitcoins Moved to Holder Addresses: Something Is Happening Behind the Scenes

CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju stated that 400.000 BTC have been moved to “long-term holder” addresses, adding, “I’m quite sure something is happening behind the scenes.”

Amid the recent extreme price fluctuations in Bitcoin, wallet movements are under scrutiny. Ki Young Ju, the CEO of CryptoQuant, a platform that tracks wallet transactions and blockchain data, highlighted significant activity.

Ki stated, “I’m quite sure something is happening behind the scenes,” noting that 404,448 BTC have been moved to “long-term holder” addresses over the past 30 days. The CryptoQuant CEO added, “This is clearly an accumulation movement. We’ll find out what it means within a year.”

Ki also shared his prediction, adding:

“Within a year, TradFi institutions, corporations, or governments will announce that they purchased Bitcoin in the third quarter of 2024. And individual investors will regret not buying, blaming the German government’s sale, Mt. Gox, or whatever macroeconomic nonsense there is.”

The term “long-term holder” refers to individuals or entities intending to hold a cryptocurrency for an extended period.
