ChatGPT has started mimicking humans
During a conversation with a user, ChatGPT surprised them by mimicking their voice. OpenAI states that such voice imitation is rare and the risks are low. This situation has reminded many of the TV series *Black Mirror*.
The AI-based chatbot, ChatGPT, went out of control and left its user completely stunned. According to a report by Tamindir.com, the chatbot unexpectedly mimicked the user’s voice. Although AI tools generally make our daily lives easier, they can sometimes lead to unusual situations. ChatGPT has now found itself at the center of one such intriguing incident.
STARTED MIMICKING THE USER’S VOICE
A user was shocked while talking to ChatGPT. During the conversation, the AI-based chatbot suddenly shouted “no” and began mimicking the user’s voice. Last week, ChatGPT’s developer, OpenAI, released a report highlighting the fundamental risks associated with large language models and ways to mitigate them. The report mentioned that during testing, the language model occasionally imitated a user’s voice unintentionally, but such occurrences were very rare. The company emphasized that the likelihood of ChatGPT accidentally mimicking voices is extremely low.
