Enhanced Dog Robot Unitree Go2 Now It Has Wheels

The Unitree Go2 can lock its wheels to switch to walking mode. It can also navigate rough terrains, stairs, and obstacles. It can even balance on its front legs.

Leading robotics company Unitree has unveiled its new robot dog model. Unlike the previous four-legged models, this one is equipped with wheels for greater speed on flat terrain.

The new model is expected to be priced around $2800.

The new model combines the agility of four-legged robots with the speed and efficiency of wheeled vehicles. Equipped with advanced sensors, the robot can autonomously navigate its surroundings. Its high-capacity battery (15,000 mAh) guarantees about four hours of usage time.

The fast-charging function reduces downtime. Finally, it features an eight-core processor and wireless connectivity options including Wi-Fi, 4G, and Bluetooth. The robot can easily switch from four-legged mode to wheeled mode, allowing it to adapt to different types of terrain.

Additionally, it can carry loads up to 3 kg. The presence of 18 cm diameter rubber tires mounted on motorized wheels ensures smooth movement. The wheeled robot dog weighs approximately 18 kg. It also has a front lighting feature for tasks after dark.

Unitree has not yet provided detailed information about the price of the new model, but for reference, the four-legged version was sold for approximately $1,700. The new model is also expected to be priced around $2,800.
