Satoshi's Bitcoin emails have resurfaced: "We must be ready."
Martti Malmi, who has once again made headlines by revealing his correspondence with Satoshi in the Craig Wright case, has unveiled some new sections. In the emails, Satoshi emphasizes that Bitcoin cannot just be an investment asset and underscores the need to be prepared for a widespread user influx.

Martti Malmi, who gained attention once again for his involvement in the case against Craig Wright, known as “Fake Satoshi,” and for revealing his correspondence with Satoshi during the hearings, has disclosed some new emails.
"There should also be an exchange medium."
In these newly revealed emails, Satoshi makes clear comments about the future status that Bitcoin will attain. For example, insisting on Bitcoin being an exchange medium, Satoshi uses the following statements:
“As is generally seen in trade, investors can profit from the margin between buying and selling prices. However, making Bitcoin as usable as possible will further improve this process, as people will not only want to sell all their coins to you, but they will also want to buy them and use them as an exchange medium. Small-scale buying and selling, even sales of goods, will prevent Bitcoin from being placed in the same basket with all eggs. Bitcoin can be valued against anything that can be obtained in return. As with any paper currency… Therefore, it should not only be an investment asset but also a medium of exchange.”
As previously revealed in emails, Satoshi mentioned that the only solution he found for such an electronic currency was the Proof of Work system. Satoshi, who revisits a similar topic in these emails, emphasizes that the PoW system consumes much less energy compared to the traditional banking system. Nakamoto also mentions the environmental impacts of PoW.

"There may be a user influx."
In the emails from May 2, 2009, praising Malmi for understanding the potential of Bitcoin, Satoshi believes that Bitcoin’s value would increase if it were associated with fiat currencies at that time. Satoshi says:
“There may be a user influx. We must be ready for it. Adoption could reach widespread levels. I expect hardware speed to be much higher. Hardware will be 10 times faster in 5 years and 100 times faster in 10 years. Even if Bitcoin adoption reaches insane levels, hardware speed will still be ahead of it.”
