Detect AI-Generated Text with GPTZero

In response to this issue, Princeton University student Edward Tian developed GPTZero, an AI that claims to detect texts produced by artificial intelligence.

This AI model uses two different methods to determine whether a text was created by a human or AI. The first method measures the unpredictability of the text, while the second evaluates how complex and convoluted the sentences appear. These criteria are combined to produce a percentage-based result.

This new technology is specifically designed for teachers to detect if students have used AI to complete their assignments. Additionally, content creators can use it to check if a text is genuinely original.
