Renowned macro investment expert and former Goldman Sachs executive Raoul Pal has adopted a different approach from traditional ranking methods when analyzing the future of cryptocurrencies. In his recent video analysis, he categorized cryptocurrencies into four different categories based on their potential long-term performance and adoption levels. He divided his ratings into four groups: S, A, B, and C/D.

In the top category, “S,” Pal places cryptocurrencies with established and robust ecosystems such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. He notes that these assets are fundamental players in the crypto space and can potentially show strong performance in the long term.

The “A” category, following the “S” category, includes cryptocurrencies that have provided high returns in specific market cycles, such as Dogecoin. Despite being known as a meme coin, Dogecoin attracts continuous and significant attention.

The “B” category holds an interesting position in Pal’s analysis. Here, cryptocurrencies like XRP, Cardano, Chainlink, and Cosmos are placed. Although these cryptocurrencies have shown potential with specific use cases and development efforts, they have not yet been widely adopted or proven their long-term success.

Looking ahead, the “C” category includes assets like Polygon (Matic) and Tron. The future success of these assets is still uncertain, and they face challenges in positioning themselves securely in the crypto space. According to Pal, they have a high chance of shining in the bull market with less risk.

Finally, in the lowest category, “D,” promising ideas or technologies are placed. These assets have not yet been widely adopted or received sufficient interest to guarantee confidence. Cryptocurrencies in this category are evaluated as having higher levels of risk and uncertainty.
