She lost 40 kilograms in a short time... 40-year-old mother reveals the easiest way to lose weight healthily.

Mother of two, Crystel Saturday, says that a few simple lifestyle changes helped her lose approximately 40 kilograms. The 40-year-old mother admits she had resigned herself to being overweight for the rest of her life, but then something suddenly clicked for her.

I was tired of the excuses and exhausted from feeling bad about myself. I was 39 years old, and I was with my children who deserved the best version of me,’ she continued. ‘I was overwhelmed and depressed, but at the same time, I decided to focus on one thing.

Now, Crystel has approximately 70,000 followers by sharing her weight loss journey, which she began in January 2023 when she weighed 102 kilograms.

 

In a post published in February, Crystel said, ‘Step 1 is to stop eating at night, leaving a four-hour gap between dinner and bedtime.

She said her family, consisting of her husband Ryan and their two young sons Levi and Jace, eats dinner at around 5:30 or 6 in the evening and doesn’t eat anything else before going to bed.

She also advises eliminating beverages other than water from the diet, except for one per day. (She doesn’t count coffee in this)

Crystel said, ‘I don’t take my first bite of food until 10:30 in the morning.’ ‘When I feel hungry, I drink water, and I only deviate from this on special occasions, but otherwise, this has become my routine.

The next morning, she notes that she fasted for 16 hours between dinner and breakfast, not counting the coffee she drank at 7:30 in the morning.

Among other tips are calorie tracking, limiting added sugar to 30 grams per day, and starting weight training.

Crystel launched a program to help others lose weight and learn healthy habits. However, she emphasizes that she is not an expert herself.
