YouTube states that its new track removal tool removes sections containing copyrighted music while leaving the rest of the audio intact. The company explains that it uses an AI-powered algorithm to detect and remove the music without affecting other sounds in the video.
YouTube also warns that the algorithm may occasionally fail to remove the music.
